Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in project estimation within the interior fitout sector. This role requires a solid understanding of interior fitout pricing, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD to assist with cost estimation and project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for interior fitout projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team to understand project requirements, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that all estimates are aligned with project objectives.
• AutoCAD Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD to assist in the preparation of drawings and layouts for estimation purposes.
• Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and ensure materials and services are available within the required timeframe and budget.
• Budget Management: Monitor and track project costs to ensure that the project stays within budget and assist in addressing any variances as needed.
• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and clarification regarding project drawings, specifications, and design elements during the estimation process.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized records of all estimates, revisions, and project-related documentation for future reference and audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in project estimation, specifically within the interior fitout sector.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant estimation software.
• Solid understanding of interior fitout pricing, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.
