We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees.
• Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, and prepare reports with corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with local and national health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of OHS legislation and procedures.
• Certification in occupational health and safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
