Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting Nicon Trading and Contracting W.L.L’s technical solutions in the MEP, ELV, and home automation sectors. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the industry, a technical background, and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the construction, fit-out, and technology sectors
- Meet and communicate with consultants, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements and propose tailored solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical/commercial presentations to potential clients
- Conduct site visits and technical evaluations when required
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tenders in coordination with the engineering and estimation team
- Negotiate terms and close sales agreements
- Maintain records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM or reporting tools
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies
- Support after-sales processes to ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in Qatar in any of the following areas:
- MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
- ELV (CCTV, Access Control, BMS, etc.)
- Home Automation / Smart Home Solutions
- Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong technical understanding and ability to interpret drawings/specifications
- Valid Qatar Driving License
- Arabic speaking is a plus
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Transferable visa
