Design and develop landscape plans, including grading, drainage, irrigation, and planting layouts
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents
Analyze site conditions such as soil, topography, climate, and environmental impact
Coordinate with landscape architects, civil engineers, architects, and contractors
Ensure compliance with local codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards
Oversee project implementation, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical issues
Manage stormwater systems, erosion control, and sustainable design solutions
Review contractor submittals and monitor construction quality and timelines
Utilize CAD, GIS, and engineering software for design and analysis
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Engineering, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) or relevant licensure preferred
3–7 years of experience in landscape or site engineering (experience level may vary)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or similar design software
Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, irrigation systems, and plant materials
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
