Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-end fit-out works, be capable of handling projects from concept to completion, and ensure compliance with client requirements, authority regulations, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural designs, drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Develop project concepts aligned with client requirements, brand standards, and budget
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and samples
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is maintained
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, authority regulations, and safety standards
- Assist in obtaining approvals from relevant authorities
- Resolve design and technical issues during construction and fit-out stages
- Support project teams to ensure timely project delivery
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- Minimum 10 years of experience in preparing architectural drawings
- Proven experience in high-end fit-out works for 5-star hotels (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of hotel standards, luxury finishes, and coordination with MEP & interior teams
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office
- Solid understanding of local authority regulations and building codes
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
Mandatory Criteria
- UPDA Certified (MMUP) – Required
- Immediate availability to join
- Experience in Qatar / Gulf region preferred
Preferred Skills
- Site supervision or architectural supervision experience
- Interior fit-out and refurbishment project experience
- Experience working with international hotel brands
