The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for handling all government-related transactions and ensuring full compliance with Qatar labor laws, immigration regulations, and ministry requirements. The PRO acts as the company’s official representative with government authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Process, renew, and manage work visas, residence permits (QID), family visas, and exit permits
Handle Ministry of Interior (MOI), Ministry of Labour, Immigration, and CID transactions
Manage company trade license, commercial registration (CR), computer cards, and establishment cards
Submit and follow up on medical tests, fingerprinting, and biometric registration
Handle NOC, employment contracts, labor approvals, and staff sponsorship changes
Coordinate with banks, embassies, and government portals (Metrash, Hukoomi)
Ensure timely renewal of documents to avoid fines or penalties
Maintain accurate records of employee and company documentation
Assist HR and management on legal and compliance matters
Keep updated with changes in Qatar labor and immigration laws
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum 2–5 years experience as a PRO in Qatar
Strong knowledge of Qatar labor law and immigration procedures
Familiar with Metrash2, Hukoomi, and Ministry portals
Valid Qatar Driving License preferred
Good communication skills in Arabic and English
