We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier / Customer Service Representative to join our restaurant team. The role involves handling customer orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience through efficient and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take orders accurately (in-person and/or by phone)
- Operate POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Answer customer questions about menu items and promotions
- Prepare orders for pickup or coordinate with kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter and customer area
- Resolve minor customer issues calmly and professionally
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace policies
- Support team members during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability (evenings/weekends an asset)
