We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier / Customer Service Representative to join our restaurant team. The role involves handling customer orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience through efficient and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and take orders accurately (in-person and/or by phone)
Operate POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
Answer customer questions about menu items and promotions
Prepare orders for pickup or coordinate with kitchen staff
Maintain cleanliness of the front counter and customer area
Resolve minor customer issues calmly and professionally
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace policies
Support team members during busy periods
Requirements
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred (not required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
Ability to stand for extended periods
Flexible availability (evenings/weekends an asset)
