A Lifting & Rigging Supervisor approved by Qatar Energy is responsible for ensuring all lifting operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company standards and international regulations.

???? Key Responsibilities:

Plan, supervise, and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities on site

Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy procedures, safety standards, and lifting plans

Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and pre-lift meetings

Verify crane certifications, lifting gear, and operator qualifications

Monitor critical lifts and ensure proper rigging techniques are applied

Stop unsafe operations and implement corrective actions immediately

Maintain documentation, permits, and inspection records

Coordinate with project teams, safety officers, and crane operators

Strong knowledge of lifting operations and rigging practices

Familiarity with international standards (LOLER, ASME, BS, etc.)

Leadership and decision-making skills

Excellent hazard identification and risk control ability
