We are a Qatar-based Holding Company engaged in FMCG Trading & Distribution, Logistics, and related businesses. We are expanding our Business Intelligence and Reporting capabilities and looking for an enthusiastic Power BI Developer with strong data analysis and reporting skills. Currently Qlik view is in use.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Power BI, data extraction from Oracle databases, and interest in developing modern reporting and web-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

Develop interactive dashboards and MIS reports using Power BI. 

Create KPIs, charts, drill-down reports, and management dashboards. 

Use Power Query and DAX for data transformation and calculations. 

Maintain and improve existing BI reports and datasets. 

Data Extraction & Analysis

Extract and prepare data from Oracle databases for reporting purposes. 

Understand database tables, relationships, and business transaction data. 

Create SQL queries, views, and datasets required for reporting. 

Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation between ERP and BI reports. 

Reporting & Automation

Support automated reporting processes for Finance, Sales, Logistics, and Management. 

Assist in creating reusable datasets and table views for reporting purposes. 

Work with users to understand reporting requirements and improve dashboards. 

Web & Technology Exposure

Interest in lightweight web applications, reporting portals, or automation tools is an added advantage. 

Support future digital initiatives related to reporting and analytics. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Power BI. 

Good knowledge of: 

Power Query 

DAX 

Data visualization concepts 

Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge. 

Understanding of data extraction from Oracle databases. 

Ability to understand ERP transaction data and reporting requirements. 

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Oracle 11g/19c environment is an advantage. 

Exposure to QlikView is beneficial. 

Basic understanding of web applications or APIs is a plus. 

Experience & Education

2–3 years of experience in Power BI and reporting. 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
