Mechanical Engineer with piping and structural experience leads the design, analysis, and site supervision of heavy industrial facilities (Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, or water treatment). Responsibilities include routing pipework, conducting stress analyses, designing support steelwork, ensuring structural integrity, and managing multidisciplinary construction.
Key Responsibilities
Piping Design & Analysis: Develop piping plans, isometrics, and P&IDs. Perform pipe stress analysis (static/dynamic) to ensure systems withstand operating pressures, thermal expansion, and loads.
Structural Coordination: Design and verify pipe supports, skid frames, and secondary steel structures to ensure they can bear operational and environmental loads.
Material Selection: Choose appropriate piping materials (., CS, SS, GRP, FRP) based on fluid characteristics, temperatures, and corrosion allowances.
Code Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction strictly adhere to international codes (., ASME , API, AWS, AISC).
Site Supervision & Quality Control: Manage and inspect piping fabrication, welding, steel erection, and hydrotesting. Resolve site clashes and coordinate with civil/structural teams
