We are hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the technical and engineering functions of ongoing construction projects. The role involves reviewing design documents, preparing technical submissions, coordinating with suppliers, and providing technical support to site teams. The ideal candidate should have strong technical office experience within MEP or electrical contracting projects.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:
Requirements:
Minimum 8–10 years of Technical Office experience in Electrical Engineering
Understand the drawing specifications and materials requirements of the project.
Prepare and provide complete requirements of materials to procurement department with support from trade technicians/supervisors.
Should have a valid QID
Responsibilities:
•Reviewing /checking the Electrical systems IFC drawings / Specifications, Technical review for all IFC documents, check the design issues, discrepancy & RFIs preparation/submission.
•Preparing materials take off for all Electrical systems.
•Preparing the technical documents, reports, Method statements, O& Manuals.
•Following up & supporting the draftsmen for shop drawings submissions.
•Procurement and follow up the materials with the suppliers for different electrical systems,.
•Technical review for the suppliers offers, checking the technical documents for compliance and preparing the technical material submittals,
Provide technical support to solve site issues.
