We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Electrical Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment through Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities. The role focuses on ensuring the reliable operation of technical facilities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and service.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on:
Motor Control Centers (MCC)
Electrical panels
Electrical motors
Lighting systems
Power distribution systems
Troubleshoot electrical equipment, MCC panels, and SCADA systems.
Perform electrical modifications and execute new installations as assigned.
Read and interpret electrical panel drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical circuits.
Diagnose and repair faults in electrical motors, pumps, starter panels, and power distribution networks.
Supervise subcontractors on-site and ensure work is completed in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Monitor the availability of critical spare parts and recommend procurement when required.
Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Report maintenance activities, completed work, and equipment issues promptly to the Electrical Supervisor.
Deliver high-quality facility management services while maintaining professional interactions with clients, guests, and colleagues.
Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
Qualifications
ITI Certificate in Electrical or equivalent qualification.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of GCC experience as an Electrical Technician.
Experience working in large industrial facilities, substations, and plant rooms is mandatory.

Electrical motors and pumps

Power distribution systems
SCADA systems
Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems is an added advantage.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.
Technical report writing skills.
Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Sound knowledge of electrical safety procedures and job site safety practices.
Familiarity with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
Ability to complete organization-specific safety training and comply with all HSE requirements.
