Job Summary

Paris Hypermarket is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our Customer Service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience while maintaining company standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Receive cash, card, and other approved payment methods while ensuring accurate billing.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing their inquiries professionally.
• Ensure products are scanned correctly and promotional offers are applied accurately.
• Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and basic service requests in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient checkout area.
• Report pricing discrepancies, system issues, or customer concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow company policies, cash handling procedures, and loss prevention guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cashier in a supermarket, hypermarket, or retail environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Transferable Visa / Transfer ID Required.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: QAR 1,200 – 1,500
• Food, Accommodation & Transportation (FAT) provided by the company.
