Al Injazat Trading & Contracting Company is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer (Civil) to join our team for an ongoing building construction project in Doha, Qatar.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in building construction projects.
Strong knowledge of site execution, technical submittals, material approvals, and shop drawings.
Experience in dealing with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Qatar experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on technical submittals, material approvals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Attend progress meetings and provide regular project updates.
Follow up on consultant comments and ensure timely closure.
Coordinate inspections and approvals with the consultant and relevant authorities.
Support procurement activities by reviewing quantities and material requirements.
Ensure that all works are carried out safely and in accordance with project standards.
Maintain proper project documentation and records.
