About the Role
Plaza Inn Hotel is looking for experienced *F&B Captains and Team Leaders* to join our team in our 4-star hotel in Doha. You will lead service teams, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain the highest standards of food & beverage service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide wait staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations - Ensure excellent guest service and handle guest complaints professionally - Train new staff on service standards, SOPs, and upselling techniques - Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and HACCP/Food Safety standards - Assist F&B Manager with scheduling, inventory, and cost control - Coordinate with Kitchen, Bar, and other departments - Support banquet events, weddings, and VIP functions when required - Promote menu items and maximize revenue through upselling
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience as Captain/Team Leader in 4-star or 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant - Experience in Qatar/GCC is preferred - Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety standards - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills - Fluent in English. Arabic is an advantage - Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays - Candidates with transferable visa in Qatar preferred
