Mind Stream is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for pipeline pre-commissioning execution on site, covering cleaning, gauging, hydrotesting, pigging and intelligent inspection, dewatering, drying and preservation.
Responsibilities:
- Execute pipeline pre-commissioning activities on site, including cleaning, gauging, hydrotesting, pigging and intelligent inspection, dewatering, drying and preservation
- Operate, monitor and maintain pre-commissioning equipment and instrumentation
- Verify materials and fabrication compliance with applicable requirements before and during pre-commissioning
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks during pre-commissioning works
- Coordinate with site supervision and contractors on daily execution, progress, and technical queries
- Prepare pre-commissioning records, documentation, and progress reports in line with site requirements
Requirements:
- Site experience in pipeline pre-commissioning (onshore and/or offshore)
- Working knowledge of pre-commissioning equipment and instrumentation
- Understanding of pipeline materials and fabrication requirements
- Site HSE awareness and compliance mindset
- Coordination, reporting, and documentation skills
Experience: 8+ years
Location: Doha, Qatar
Contract duration: 1 year, extendable
Eligibility: Locally available candidates with a valid QID preferred
