HSE Officer – Industrial Site Responsibilities * Conduct daily HSE site inspections. * Identify hazards and unsafe acts/conditions. * Ensure proper PPE compliance. * Review Risk Assessments, Method Statements and JSA/JHA. * Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) compliance. * Conduct toolbox talks and HSE briefings. * Provide HSE induction for new workers. * Monitor work at height and scaffolding activities. * Monitor lifting and rigging operations. * Monitor hot work and fire prevention measures. * Monitor confined space activities. * Monitor electrical safety and LOTO procedures. * Monitor excavation and trenching activities. * Inspect machinery, tools and lifting equipment. * Ensure valid operator competency and equipment certificates. * Monitor chemical handling and hazardous material storage. * Maintain good housekeeping standards. * Monitor waste management and environmental controls. * Implement heat-stress prevention measures. * Ensure emergency equipment and evacuation routes are accessible. * Participate in emergency drills. * Report and investigate incidents, accidents and near misses. * Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. * Track and close HSE corrective actions. * Maintain HSE inspection and training records. * Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports. * Participate in HSE meetings and safety committees. * Conduct subcontractor HSE inspections. * Support client HSE audits and inspections. * Ensure compliance with company, client and Qatar HSE requirements. * Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture.
