Core Accounting Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
Monitor and control fixed assets, accruals, and provisions
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP, as applicable)
Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT filings, and statutory reports
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit requirements
Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls
Financial Analysis & Planning
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and risks
Support budget preparation and forecasting
Provide management with financial insights and recommendations
Assist in cash flow management and cost control initiatives
Requirements:
Relevant experience in the applied position
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Immediate availability is a plus
