We are seeking a qualified Accountant who is currently residing in the State of Qatar, with a minimum of 5 years of practical accounting experience.

Requirements & Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent university qualification from a recognized university.

* Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably including experience in Qatar.

* A recognized professional accounting qualification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent. Professional certifications from recognized bodies in different countries are accepted.

* Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

* Familiarity with accounting and tax requirements relevant to the company’s business activities in Qatar.

* Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; candidates should specify the systems/software they have previously used.

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.

* Strong command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic will be considered an advantage.

* Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to review financial data and identify errors or discrepancies.

* High level of accuracy, integrity, and commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of financial information.

* Ability to organize workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, particularly during financial closing periods.

* Good communication and teamwork skills, with a strong sense of responsibility.

* Willingness to undergo a technical interview and practical assessment in Accounting and Excel.

* Candidates must be able to provide supporting documents for their qualifications, professional certifications, and work experience upon request.

* Preference will be given to candidates who can join within a short period. Applicants should clearly state their required notice period.
