We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Chief Accountant to oversee financial operations, treasury support, project accounting, inventory control, and working capital management.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee accounting operations, general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing.

Manage treasury operations, cash flow, bank reconciliations, and liquidity planning.

Handle Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (LGs), Murabaha, Trust Receipts, and trade finance facilities.

Supervise project accounting, project costing, and financial cost analysis.

Monitor inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and cost control.

Oversee accounts receivable, collections, customer reconciliations, and accounts payable.

Coordinate payroll accounting, leave provisions, gratuity, and end-of-service benefits with HR.

Ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.

Prepare financial reports and provide management with insights for financial planning and decision-making.

Experience & Qualifications

8–12 years of accounting and finance experience.

Minimum 3–5 years in a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant role.

Preferably experienced in trading and project-based organizations.

Strong ERP and advanced Excel skills, with excellent data integrity and financial reporting accuracy.

Hands-on experience with LCs, LGs, Murabaha, Trust Receipts, and trade finance.

Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Qatar experience is an advantage.
