Treasury Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Analyst to manage treasury operations, banking relationships, payment processes, and bank connectivity projects. The role will support cash management, SWIFT integrations, payment testing, and treasury system enhancements while ensuring efficient and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day treasury operations, including payment processing, cash management, and banking activities.
• Coordinate and oversee bank connectivity implementations through SWIFT and other banking channels.
• Collaborate with banking partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth treasury operations.
• Perform UAT, SIT, and payment validation testing (PVT) for banking projects.
• Monitor and resolve payment processing issues, banking exceptions, and transaction failures.
• Review and validate payment files, ensuring compliance with bank requirements and internal controls.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of treasury management systems and ERP integrations.
• Manage banking documentation, account administration, and system access controls.
• Prepare treasury reports, dashboards, and management information for stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
• CA Inter qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Treasury Operations, Banking Operations, or Corporate Treasury.
• Proven experience in bank connectivity and SWIFT implementations.
• Experience in payment processing and treasury project execution.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Business Central, or similar.
• Experience managing banking relationships and coordinating with financial institutions.
• Experience supporting cross-border and international payment processes.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Treasury Operations and Corporate Banking.
• Good understanding of SWIFT messaging and bank connectivity solutions.
• Understanding payment formats such as MT940, CAMT, PAIN.001, and ISO 20022.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder and bank relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external banking partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong reporting, documentation, and process improvement capabilities.
