We are seeking a skilled and experienced E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Project Controls cum Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in Oil & Gas construction projects. Responsible for monitoring Project Progress & cost against Planned values. Able to prepare detailed resource loaded schedule, check achieved progress and prepare monthly invoicing. Identify & submit variation & claims for additional works as per contract.

*Duties & responsibility:

Ø Planning & Scheduling:

Review Plan & prepare detailed Resource Loaded Schedule for all E&I activities.

Update & Monitor Actual Progress against Baseline.

Calculate achieve progress weightage & generate reports for invoicing.

Generate measurement reports & monthly Invoicing.

Ø Cost Estimation & Monitor:

Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for E&I components based on project specifications.

Monitor and control project costs, identifying and addressing any deviations.

Prepare accurate cost estimates & Budget considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine cost estimates as necessary.

Ø Cost Control:

Implement effective cost control measures to optimize project expenditures.

Conduct regular cost analyses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Ensure compliance with cost control policies and procedures.

Ø Contract Administration:

Review and negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Ensure contractual terms align with project requirements and budget constraints.

Administer contract variations and resolve commercial issues as they arise.

*Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Proven 10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, Project Controls, for E&I Works in Oil & Gas construction projects.

Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.

Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
