We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled AutoCAD Fabrication and Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed 2D and 3D drawings of mechanical components and assemblies using AutoCAD software. You will work closely with engineers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure the accurate and timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create and modify detailed 2D drawings of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering drawings, including schematics, layouts, and fabrication drawings.
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis as required.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and fabrication issues.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and drafting using AutoCAD software.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting techniques, including dimensioning, tolerancing, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and concepts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) is a plus.
- Languages: Fluent English, Urdu, Hindi, and Arabic is a Plus.
