Equipment Admin Officer (Oil & Gas Sector)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Admin Officer to support equipment management operations at our project site in Qatar. This role is responsible for coordinating equipment documentation, tracking utilization, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and supporting daily site operations. The position is site-based and requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain updated records of equipment availability, utilization, inspections, and certifications
- Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of equipment in alignment with project requirements
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly equipment reports for management and client submission
- Ensure all equipment documentation (TPI certificates, operator licenses, maintenance records) is complete and valid
- Liaise with site operations, logistics, and workshop teams to track equipment status
- Monitor equipment performance, breakdowns, and maintenance schedules
- Assist in planning equipment needs and allocations based on work activities
- Support audits, inspections, and client verifications related to equipment compliance
- Maintain asset registers and ensure proper filing of all related documents
- Coordinate with procurement teams for rental, replacement, or additional equipment requirements
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in equipment coordination/administration within the Oil & Gas, EPC, or construction sector
- Familiarity with heavy equipment, lifting gear, and asset management procedures
- Strong computer skills (Excel, ERP systems, equipment tracking tools)
- Good knowledge of documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Experience working in multicultural, site-based environments
