The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of an company's vehicle fleet. This role encompasses scheduling maintenance, monitoring vehicle usage, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with drivers, vendors, and management to enhance fleet efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities include maintaining project schedules, organising meetings, updating status reports, and assisting Project Managers with planning and risk tracking. Help escalate blockers and communicate updates and may support multiple teams.
Your duties include dispatching fleet drivers to deliver loads, planning driving schedules, and updating driving routes.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Responsible for repairing and or coordinating vehicles that require repairs/service in relation to automotive/mechanical components
Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety that of other workers, the public, and the environment
Change, Delete and asset mgmt
Maintain data used by Internal systems that govern Domestic Fleet
Assist as warranted in covering blood drives during emergency situations and ensure that Mobile Unit vehicle assignments are adequate blood drive coverage relative to out of service units
Renews vehicle insurance cards and ensures that vehicles requiring County emission tests are completed on time and ensure that all vehicle decals and licensing remain current
Forecasting vehicle requirements and place orders as required in compliance with the vehicle policy
Maintaining records of vehicles, location and drivers
Reviewing, coding, and facilitating payment of monthly vehicle invoices
Providing back-up for vehicle maintenance approvals
