We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced finance professional with a strong background in Audit with Top firms and proven administrative skills to take charge of financial systems. This role involves oversight of accounting, internal controls, reporting, budgeting, and supporting overall operational efficiency across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
Manage trial balance reviews, reconciliations, and suspense account resolutions.
Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and statutory requirements.
Identify and prevent fraud or discrepancies in financial records.
Lead and develop the finance team to ensure effective performance.
Contribute to cost reduction and profit improvement initiatives.
Manage monthly/year-end closings and ensure deadlines are met.
Oversee the transition and implementation of ERP/financial systems.
Maintain professionalism, skepticism, and integrity in financial reporting.
Requirements:
Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent).
3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally including work with or at Top audit firm
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and audit procedures
Proven experience in auditing, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong command of accounting software and tools (QuickBooks, Zoho, Excel, etc.)
Hands-on experience with ERP/financial systems implementation.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong ethical standards with the ability to withstand pressure to manipulate figures.
Must be based in Qatar or willing to relocate on short notice
