We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our local sales operations in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in B2B and retail sales of lubricants. Experience in automotive spare parts or tyre sales will also be considered. This role involves developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing a sales team, and providing regular performance reports to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow the company’s lubricant product lines in Qatar.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across automotive workshops, industrial clients, transport fleets, and retailers.
Maintain and expand relationships with distributors, dealers, and key accounts.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor customer satisfaction and competitor activity.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Team Management & Leadership
Lead, motivate, and support the local sales team to ensure alignment with company goals.
Set individual and team targets; provide regular coaching, support, and performance reviews.
Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, and marketing) to streamline the sales process.
Strategy & Reporting
Design and implement market penetration strategies based on market trends and customer needs.
Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to management.
Analyze sales data and provide insights to improve product positioning and pricing.
Client Relationship & Technical Support
Ensure excellent service and follow-up with clients for long-term relationships.
Provide product training, technical guidance, and on-site support where needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of local sales experience in lubricants is required; spare parts or tyres experience is also considered.
Proven experience in managing a sales team and achieving team-based performance goals.
Strong understanding of lubricant product applications and Qatar’s automotive/industrial market.
Ability to design sales strategies and deliver accurate and timely reports to management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and SAP
Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
Fluency in English
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience in a lubricants, Spare Parts or Tires .
Strong existing client base within Qatar.
Capable of operating independently and managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
