About the Role
Paris Hypermarket is looking for an experienced Finance Manager with strong retail/hypermarket experience to manage financial control, reporting, cash flow, working capital, inventory, profitability and overall financial discipline.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in retail finance, hypermarket accounting, POS/ERP systems, inventory control, GP analysis, budgeting and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting.
Prepare and analyse P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
Monitor sales, Gross Profit, Gross Margin, EBITDA, expenses and Net Profit.
Conduct POS vs ERP, cash, card and sales reconciliation.
Monitor cashier variances, refunds, discounts, returns, cancellations and price overrides.
Control inventory value, stock ageing, shrinkage, wastage and stock variances.
Monitor GP by department, category, SKU and supplier.
Manage supplier accounts, reconciliations, payments, rebates, claims and credit notes.
Monitor customer receivables, ageing and credit limits.
Manage cash flow, bank reconciliation and liquidity requirements.
Control operating expenses and prepare budget vs actual analysis.
Strengthen internal controls and investigate financial irregularities.
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure statutory compliance.
Prepare branch/department profitability reports and management dashboards.
Work closely with Operations, Purchase, Sales, Warehouse, HR and IT teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
7–10 years of relevant finance experience.
Retail / Hypermarket / FMCG experience is strongly preferred.
Strong experience in retail accounting, inventory accounting, cost control and cash management.
Strong knowledge of P&L, budgeting, forecasting and working-capital management.
Hands-on experience with POS and ERP systems.
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
Professional qualification such as CA / ACCA / CMA is preferred.
Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage a finance team and communicate with senior management.
